Biography

Only one year after transplanting to NYC, Allyssa Maurice has quickly established herself as a charming, vivacious, dedicated and professional film talent. She recently completed work on Ghosts of Girlfriends Past, a Mark Waters film due for 2009 release, where she played opposite Matthew McConaughey.

Allyssa is well known throughout New England with work that includes an extensive history of theater, print, dance and commercials, beginning at age 5. A college theater major @ USM, Allyssa has supplemented her formal studies and natural talent with intensives with Emmy Award winning director Mary Lou Belli, NY acting coach Peter Kelley and Acting coach to the stars, Margie Haber.

Directors and crew agree that Allyssa is organized, prompt, tireless and always fully prepared. Her brilliant smile lights up the set! The former owner of her own dance studio she understands and implements a strong work ethic.
